SUNDAY WORSHIP Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost

9/18/2022 9:30 AM My Family in Christ, Grace and love of our Lord be with you! Every time I entered the sanctuary I remember you and pray for you and your family. I truly hope that all of you are well in Christ. Today I had a chance to meet clergies in Greenwich and pray together. The main topic was Kinship with God's Creation. It was a learning experience to review my understanding by comparing other perspectives. My sisters and brothers, do you have God's teaching moments lately? What do you learn and how did the experience change your life? Please come and join the worship of our God who teaches and guides us. Also, share your experiences and stories with others. See you soon in God's time! Many blessings, Pastor Dong Hyun Choi Our sanctuary will be open for the service, and wearing a mask properly is recommended. Our virtual worship space also will be open for you.

Click Here to join the Virtual Worship Place. Also, you can call in the virtual worship space. The phone number is +1 929 205 6099. Our meeting id and passcode are 2036299584.

SEP. THEME SUNDAY SERVICE 9.25.22, 9:30 AM "Praise, Prayer, Potluck, Pet Friendly"

One Church Street - Front Lawn Outdoor Family-style worship Welcome and join us to celebrate the Lord’s gift of Grace. As United Methodists, we offer an open communion. We sing a variety of praise and traditional hymns. We listen and respond to readings from the Old and New Testaments. We always eat, and there's always enough food for everyone. The worship service and the potluck brunch are one and the same; i.e., you don't have to wait until the end of the service to eat. Just as Jesus did at the Last Supper, we break the bread at the beginning of the meal and pass the cup at the end. During the meal, we chat just as a family would, discussing the highs and lows of the previous week. We also discuss the scripture lessons for the day and offer reflections and insights. Outdoor Worship: Benefits and Quirks

  • You can bring your pet.

  • Handicap accessible

  • God does a great job of decorating the sanctuary

  • It's OK to walk around the church grounds during the service.

  • Little ones have a great excuse not to sit through the whole service.

FAMILY IN SERIOUS NEED

Dear FUMC family, There is a family that is going through a very nasty domestic abuse situation. Please pray for the mother with her daughters and share your love. They need clothes for 4-6-year-old girls, toys, crafts (she has two daughters one is 4 and one is 6), baby supplies (creams, toothpaste, etc), snacks - household supplies (cleaning supplies, paper towels, toothbrushes, toilet paper, tissues, new sheets/towels, etc) - Anything that would just be helpful to her (tampons, shampoo, conditioner, etc) or even - any self-care items (masks or creams) - Any gift cards to target (or anywhere) or childcare activity/facilities, etc. May God's comfort be with the family and all of you!
