Dear Friends,

Here at First United Methodist Church of Greenwich, our congregational march towards 2012 was no piece of cake. The reason? December was quite busy with much planning of activities, meetings and celebrations. Our Advent Sundays were magnificent. One of the highlights was the Christmas Pageant on Sunday the 18th. Kudos here to Nick A. for directing our pageant and to our superb cast, which included a fairly large number of children from our own Spanish-speaking families.

A happy and blessed new year to all of you! "To this point the Lord has helped us!" (Ebenezer) May this biblical statement of faith and thanksgiving inspire us as deeply as possible as we welcome and embrace whatever the Lord may have in store for us in this year of grace 2012.
